Yes, the release date was initially scheduled for the first of August. We (the Spring.NET dev team) decided to delay the release to review code, and writeup some more examples.

Mark Pollack, the project lead, has been churning out trial releases (http://springnet.sourceforge.net/build/Release-1.0-RC1.zip) for review for the last coupla weeks if you want a peek of what is going to be available in the release.

In fact, all that's really holding the release up right now is the lack of an example application demonstrating the Spring.AOP library. I'm working on it... I'll make time this weekend to address this and then the release will be good to go.

All I can say is... soon.
