I down load the latest source code from CVS and notice that the source code for Spring.Data and Spring.Data.Test subprojects are missing from CVS. Do you know why this happens?

Hi,
We moved Spring.Data into the "sandbox" directory since it is under active development - there will some fairly big changes there so buyer beware :)
Cheers,

The code AdoTemplate code is similar to Microsoft 's Data Access Application Block. How come I don't see any exception translation in there?

Hi,
It is not there because it is still in development :) This is the downside of using the sandbox - what is in there is in various stages of development. We are going to be developing that code soon and make some big changes, most notably declarative tx management and as you noted a DAL exception hierarchy for portability across various data access technologies. I'm sure the current, very entlib-like, template class will also undergo reworking. I know you are eager for all the Spring.Data goodness - we will get to it - hang in there. If you are interested to help out let me know! Even if it is just comments on a feature list. Just curious, what, if any, orm frameworks do you use?
Cheers,
Mark

Hi,
a little thing that has bothered a bit is the fact that Spring.Data doesn't have strong name like the other nightly build more coreish things. Could you add signing to this assembly too?
