Is there a requirement to have a contributor license agreement on file with some organization to make patch contributions to the springframework.net project?
I'm referring specifically to somthing like what the apache organization requires http://www.apache.org/licenses/cla-corporate.txt.
I apologize for the off topic post, but I couldn't find what appeared to be an appropriate forum.

Hi Richard,
I'm not sure, I will find out the policy with the Spring "Java" project that should have already crossed this bridge.
Cheers,

Hi Richard,
I spoke with Colin Sampaleanu and the current plan is to go to a CLA. This will be setup in the coming month(s) and will be much like the apache one. If you send me an email or forum private message saying that you would be willing to sign it and retroactively assign that code you can contribute now.
Cheers,
Mark

Mark,
Just as an FYI, Richard's questions are to help us around our internal process we are creating to enable us to contribute that WCF channel code I have talked with you about last week or so.
Richard coordinates our internal open source use policies and is working with me to establish a smoother road to enable our developers to contribute back code. We are hoping to use this WCF code process as a kind of learning experience for us from a corporate point of view.

Hi Keith,
Interface21 should have the appropriate paperwork in place within the next 2-3 weeks. Thanks for your patience and willingness to contribute.
Cheers,
Mark
