A noticed that James Strachan posted a comment on Mark's article at InfoQ (http://www.infoq.com/articles/jms-spring-messaging-interop) to say that NMS support was committed. Is there anywhere I can download it? Or build it (I can't find CVS instructions anywhere on the main website)?

Hi David,
I'll get it up on the web site for download today. In the meantime you can get it from cvs under the module Spring.Net.Integration. There are many integration projects so it will be a big download at the moment. There are some cvs instruction here (http://opensource.atlassian.com/confluence/spring/display/NET/Project+Structure) as well as on the main SF page here (http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=106751)
I'll ping back here once it is up.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi David,
You can now download the NMS integration module from here (http://www.springframework.net/downloads/Spring.Messaging.Nms/). I'll get it integrated into CruiseControl tomorrow. The integration test solution shows some sample usage and the docs for the TIBCO EMS integation project should get you going while they get converted for use with NMS.
Cheers,
Mark

I have been developing a .NET WCF custom transport using the NMS api's configured to running against ActiveMQ NMS implementation.
Still have cleanup to do on it but I have a small bookstore example working demonstrating interopability between XFire and .NET 3.0 (same WSDL) running over this wire. (XFire service, .NET 3.0 generated client).
Would this be something relevant to the NMS subproject?

Hi Keith,
Cool! I've been thinking about just the same thing. I don't know if it is more in the realm of NMS itself or Spring.NET, I'll have to talk it over with James. In the meantime, I would be more than interested to help host it and kick start its wider use! Interop cases like this is an area where there is alot of interest. You can send me email at mpollack at interface21 dot com.

Mark

Did any of this code ever get contributed? I protoyping some code using NMS to send messages to an ActiveMQ broker. It would be great if the message producers could send messages using WCF.

Hi,
I followed up with Keith several times regarding getting the paperwork signed for him to contribute but didn't hear back. I'll ping again and see what is up.
Cheers,
Mark
