Release Candidates?

Is there a timeframe when the NMS or EMS modules will be considered for a release candidate? We're trying to standardize on Spring for java & .net and having JMS support across both is a requirement for us. Thanks.

Hi,

Yes there is. At the end of March there will be a reorg of the existing contributions to Spring Java and .NET that are outside of the standard release. The NMS code will be an independent project within this new umbrella project and you can expect to have a M1 release by the end of March, with a RC1 to soon follow in early April that will have a NMS adapter for TIBCO EMS.

Do you plan to use TIBCO EMS?

BTW, there also separate work underway to get a NMS channel for WCF contributed but has been tied up in company bureaucracy regarding its release under open source.

The long term goal is to have the message support included as part of Spring.NET 2.0 in early summer.
