Spring.Daf plans

Hi,

Recently I overviewed Spring.Daf part and it looks interesting for me, but the project looks a bit freezed.

Could you tell me what is the current state of Spring.Daf project.
Will it be available in the next Spring.Net release?

Hi,

The DAF project has been subsumed by the Spring.NET rich client project (http://richclient.fluffnstuff.org/), which will be moving to be part of a Spring.NET Extensions project this month, so that it can be formally "incubated" and become part of Spring.NET 2.0. A milestone release for that will be early summer.

One more question. While I was looking at Spring RichClient I noticed that it makes no use of Spring.Daf code.

Will Spring.Daf code be a part of future RichClient or will it be forgotten?

Hi,

Harald Radi, the author of the rich client framework is in the best position to answer, I'll point him towards this thread. I know that he looked deeply into both DAF and the Spring.Java rich client framework as the basis for his work.
