Is there any potential alignment with (i.e. plan to leverage) the various application blocks MS has released? Or does it not make any sense?
I'm curious since I joined a group which has started to adopt a small subset of the blocks. As an architect I'm interested in leveraging a more comprehensive framework like Spring.Net.

Hi,
I have not delved into this too deeply yet but a quick perusal through some enterprise library docs led me to think that we would create some FactoryObjects to facilitate the creation of some commonly used types in the various Enterprise Libraries - just as one could do for any third party library. As we improve our XML configuration there maybe quick shortcuts like <entlib:cache ....> to create these objects.
There is more head to head competition between Spring and EntLib in the area of data access. As you explore more, please let us know what you would like to see above and beyond what I've mentioned.
Cheers,
Mark
