Hi there,

I'm in the process of porting a client-server app to ASP.NET for a client. I've used Spring in the Java world before (as part of Alfresco (http://www.alfresco.com)) and I'd have liked to use it for this new .NET app.

Our roadmap is:
- design and specs 'til mid-december
- only then, dev 'til late april
- then tests and "beta release", 'til the "final release" scheduled for late june (can't be delayed too much as it'll be bundle with the client-server and PocketPC new release, along with a DBMS schema update)

So, my question: can I "sell" Spring.NET 1.1 (I'd like to use Spring.Web and Spring.Data.NHibernate modules) ? will it be released in time ?

It's an application for hospitals so it must be as stable as possible (though not critical), still being in "beta" in late april won't be manageable...

We are looking at P3 or RC1 release in the next few weeks, and hopefully 1.1 final by the end of the year, which should fit your schedule.

Thanks a lot for your quick answer, and thank you all for your good work!

I'll go for Spring.NET w/ Spring.Web and Spring.Data.NHibernate

Hi Guys! I think you know many of us are looking forward for this release :) For example in our company we can't develop projects on beta versions as well.

Also, I hope NHibernate 1.2 will be released by your Spring.NET 1.1 release as well ;)

But let me repeat, Thanks a lot for Spring.NET
