Authentication failing on spring.net "clsssic web services" calls

Hi,

In my project, I expose several interfaces as a classic asmx web services using the Spring.Net web service exporter.
All works well without authentication, but when I turn on authentication on IIS, calling a method on the webservice fails with a 401 (unauthorized exception).
When retrieving the wsdl, authentication succeeds, and the wsdl is returned to the client.
